In order to respond to great success of the inaugural event, the second Oyster World Rally has been announced by the prestigious UK luxury yacht builder, Oyster Yachts. It will start in January 2016.
The first Inn Challenge Trophy Race will be hosted by the Inn at English Harbour and its owner Enzo Addari, starting on Thursday, April 18, 2013. This inaugural Caribbean event will be attended by an amazing array of classic yachts, including the 79ft William Fife yacht Mariella.
To be hosted by the lovely yacht charter location – Antigua, the 2013 Antigus Sailing Week will begin in less than two weeks. So far, 103 yachts have registered for this popular Caribbean event.
The Caribbean sailing season’s Grand Finale – Antigua Sailing Week – is set to kick off in only three weeks. The event will be attended by more than 100 luxury yachts, coming from all over the world.
This year’s Antigua Sailing Week will start in less than one month, running at the popular Caribbean yacht charter destination – Antigua, from April 28 to May 3.
Set to run in Antigua from April 17 to 18, the inaugural Inn Challenge Trophy represents a race for classic yachts in the style of the America’s Cup. It will be hosting the 80-foot yacht Mariella, built by Fife to a design by Alfred Mylne.
February 15 saw the fleet of 26 Oyster yachts participating in the Oyster World Rally 2013 meet up in Panama. The yachts have now entered the Panama Canal to cross into the Pacific Ocean.
It was the first time the NZ refit company, Oceania Marine, attended the Antigua Charter Yacht Show in December 2012, reporting a great success.
The prestigious Antigua Yacht Club hosted the RORC Caribbean 600 Prize Giving with the racing Manager, Nick Elliot presenting the prize winners with RORC Commodore, Mike Greville.
The magnificent Swan 90 charter yacht Nefertiti has received the prestigious Swan Caribbean Challenge Trophy at the recently concluded RORC Caribbean 600 yacht race, held in Antigua.
It has been a great success for the Mike Slade’s luxury charter yacht ICAP Leopard, taking Line Honours at the popular RORC Caribbean 600 yacht race for the second time.
