Australian companies once again impressed at this year’s 2010 Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) in Amsterdam.The show reported a small increase in visitors over 2009 and with over 1300 exhibitors this show continues to be the most significant marine show for Australian exporters.
Bill Dixon, Chairman of the Jury of the DAME, presented the Award to the winner of the prestigious prize at the start of METS. The Overall Winner of the DAME Award 2010 is the Seldén Reversible Winch of Seldén Mast AB.
Index Marine will introduce its new range of deck glands at METS 2010. The glands are designed and certified to offer the best possible watertight protection for cable and pipe transits on all types of vessel and luxury yachts.
At the 19th annual METS (Marine Equipment Trade Show) being held in Amsterdam from 16-18 November 2010, Gleistein Ropes will celebrate the company’s continued involvement with PUMA Ocean Racing as “Official Rope Supplier” throughout the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012.
Out of a total of 132 products entered in this year’s prestigious DAME – Design Award METS competition, the DAME Jury has nominated 63 from which the overall and category winners will be chosen. The competition is held every year in conjunction with METS inc. SuperYacht Pavilion.
