Front Street Shipyard in Belfast, Maine, has contracted Bacchus Yacht Consultancy of Palm Beach, Florida, to source and sell superyacht refit work for the yard. The company is currently in the final stages of two extensive refits: a 124-foot Palmer Johnson pilothouse ketch and a 155-foot Bruce King-designed cold-molded sloop.
Transatlantic Race 2015 will be attended by new supermaxis, including the majestic 100-foot superyacht Comanche, as well as the 88-foot sailing yacht Rambler 88. The race will start from Newport in Rhode Island in late June and early July of 2015.

Hull #981 classic super yacht COLUMBIA was handed over to her new Owner by Eastern Shipbuilding in October 2014, following her successful sea trials in September 2014. Her sister ship – Hull #134 sailing yacht COLUMBIA II – is already in build.
Bermuda was announced as the home for the 2017 America’s Cup at a press conference in New York on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. The second edition of the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup was also confirmed during the press conference.
Derecktor – New York has had a busy autumn season, marked by several significant projects. The company is presently working on such lovely vessels as the 102′ super yacht Starlight and the 90′ motor yacht Fortis II.
The outstanding 172′ Feadship superyacht Gallant Lady is currently undergoing a major refit at Derecktor – Florida. This will include new teak decks, mast modifications, the restoration of tank tops within the vessel and a major shore power upgrade.
