May 21 to 22 are dates for the 3rd edition of the next year’s Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Conference (ASMEX), to be held immediately prior to the 25th anniversary of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show at Sanctuary Cove in Queensland.
The newly presented Australian Superyacht Industry Awards have announced their Winners. These included Rivergate Marina & Shipyard (Superyacht Industry of the Year – SERVICE PROVIDER) and Hanseatic Marine (Superyacht Industry of the Year – MANUFACTURER), with Muir Engineering as well as Aurora Global Logistics both awarded high commendations.
This year’s ASMEX conference as well as the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show saw a higher number of key international buyers thanks to the cooperation between the Gold Coast City Council and the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX).
Dealing with day to day operations for both AIMEX as well as Superyacht Australia will be a new responsability of Victoria Smith, appointed as a new Operations Manager.
Saturday 28th May saw the judging of the 2012 Australian Marine Industry Awards, held during the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 2012.
