The highly anticipated 2014 RORC Caribbean 600 regatta started yesterday, attended by an amazing fleet of 60 yachts, including the impressive 203ft charter yacht ATHOS.
The eagerly awaited RORC Caribbean 600 will start on Monday, February 24, 2014, hosting a record number of 65 yachts. The largest vessel to compete will be the 203ft mega yacht ATHOS, designed by Hoek.
It is a particularly busy period for the Pendennis Palma refit facility. Current projects include such magnificent vessels as sailing yacht Kenora or superyacht Velacarina.
Lighter shifty conditions provided for a dramatic finale to the 4th edition of the Superyacht Challenge Antigua. The overall winner was the 102′ sailing yacht Marama by a single point from superyacht Unfurled.
A total number of 8 luxury superyachts will be participating in the upcoming Superyacht Challenge Antigua, running from January 30 to February 2. These include such outstanding vessels as the last year’s winner and the largest yacht to compete – the 182ft mega yacht Adela.
This year’s Pendennis Cup will run Falmouth, UK, from May 26 to 31. The event will be once again hosting such important vessels as superyacht Adela, luxury yacht Christopher, Mariette yacht, and many others.
Set to kick off in the Caribbean yacht charter location – Antigua on Monday, February 24, this year’s 6th edition of the RORC Caribbean 600 is expected to be attended by around 50 yachts, including the impressive 203-foot charter yacht ATHOS.

The America’s Cup Superyacht Regatta 2013 has been won by the majestic superyacht Adela, built by Pendennis to a design by Dykstra Naval Architects. The Showboat award went to the Royal Huisman yacht Athena for her spectacular display during the event.
Pendennis Palma has successfully completed a 6-month refit of the 1928 classic motor yacht Fair Lady. This included a 5-year MCA LY1 survey, which required substantial engineering work.
Having opened its doors today, on April 18, this year’s Antibes Yacht Show is being attended by the prestigious UK building and refit company, Pendennis.
