This year’s Antigua Sailing Week was another great success. The event was attended by 10 yachts of 60 feet or more, with yacht crews representing 26 different nations. The 2014 edition will run from April 26 to May 2.
Friday, May 3, was marked by the last day of the 2013 Antigua Sailing Week. The prizes will be awarded at tonight’s Final Awards Party, comprising the prize for the best yacht at the regatta, The Lord Nelson Trophy.
Day 4 at the 2013 Antigua Sailing Week, in the popular yacht charter destination, the Caribbean, could be described as relaxed, with around 10 knots of wind staying consistent throughout the day.
Splash, the official Antigua Sailing Week party rumbled the Nelson’s Dockyard to life, with amazing music from a mix of DJ’s to live bands performing on stage.
With 10 sailing yachts over 60 feet racing, the 46th edition of Antigua Sailing Week in the Caribbean is represented by one of the largest big boat fleets for many years.
Second day of racing at the 2013 Antigua Sailing Week was accompanied by 15knots of warm breeze and beautiful sunshine, making it a true bliss for the sailors taking part in the regatta.

April 28 will be marked by the official start of racing at the highly anticipated Antigua Sailing Week 2013. The race will be attended by such spectacular vessels as the Farr 115 charter yacht Sojana.
To be hosted by the lovely yacht charter location – Antigua, the 2013 Antigus Sailing Week will begin in less than two weeks. So far, 103 yachts have registered for this popular Caribbean event.
