Kicking off tomorrow, the 33rd edition of Rolex Middle Sea Race will host more than 80 luxury yachts. The largest as well as fastest will be the 100-foot superyacht Esimit Europa 2.
Tomorrow will see the start of this year’s 33rd edition of the popular Rolex Middle Sea Race. There are expected to be blue skies and warm weather.
Last night saw the largest gathering ever organized at the Royal Malta Yacht Club – the Rolex Middle Sea Race Crew Party. The race will kixk off tomorrow, hosting a record number of 82 yachts.
As part of preparation for the 2012 Rolex Middle Sea Race, kicking off this Saturday, 30 luxury yachts took part in a 16-mile Coastal Race, held yesterday. The JV72 luxury yacht Stig also participated.

Attended by 70 spectacular yachts last year, the 2012 Rolex Middle Sea Race will once again kick off on October 20, providing one week of exciting competing. Among the entries that have already confirmed their participation in this popular event belong the last year’s winner – 100ft maxi superyacht Esimit Europa 2 – as well as the 78ft Reichel/Pugh designed sailing yacht Idea and many others.
