So far, it has been an exceptionally successful 2014 regatta season for McConaghy-built yachts. These include Reichel/Pugh-designed sailing yacht Shockwave, which claimed Line Honours in the 2014 Newport Bermuda Race.
The Island Sailing Club (ISC) in Cowes, organisers of the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race, have proudly announced that Sir Ben Ainslie will return to participate in this year’s race aboard the 100-foot charter yacht Leopard.
The prizes at the Island Sailing Club’s Race Prizegiving event of the annual J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race will be presented by Sir Ben Ainslie. The current monohull race record was set by Mike Slade on the 100ft charter yacht ICAP Leopard last year.
