Feadship Koninklijke De Vries launched and christened the 81m Motor Yacht AIR at their Aalsmeer shipyard in Holland on Saturday the 26th of March 2011. Superyacht AIR measures a colossal 81 meters (265.7 feet) and is the largest yacht ever to be built at the yard.
Motor yacht YOGI, built by Proteksan Turquoise was proudly wearing the Turkish flag on her bow, when she was launched into the water at the Pendik shipyard in Istanbul. This newest launch of yacht YOGI (hull no. NB49) measures 60.20 m (197.5 ft) and is the second superyacht launched by Proteksan Turquoise in 2011, after the earlier launch of the motor yacht Turquoise.
JFA Shipyard launched a 43m motor yacht designed by Vripack on Saturday 19th March 2011. Built under hull number 22C, the all-aluminium expedition superyacht measures 43m (141ft) and will undergo sea trials before being delivered to her owner by June 2011.
The 45m motor yacht FOLLOW ME V has been launched by the Spanish shipyard Factoria Naval Marin (FNM) at their shipyard in Marin. Yacht FOLLOW ME V was built under the hull number Y 104 and features naval architecture by FMN, exterior lines designed by Reymond Langton from London and a timeless interior designed by Design Studio Spadolini from Italy
The 50m (164ft) motor yacht LIBERTY was launched by ISA (International Shipyards Ancona) on Saturday, March 19, 2011. Yacht Liberty is the first yacht in a custom-made series of three new 50m superyachts currently under construction at the Italian ISA yard. Liberty is scheduled to be delivered in June 2011.
