The Mediterranean superyacht season is expected to be marked by an amazing start as the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Porto Cervo welcomes twenty-one spectacular sailing yachts for the sixth edition of the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, running from 4 – 8 June, 2013. Organised by the YCCS and Boat International Media, the event attracts an ever-increasing fleet of sailing yachts.
Luxury yachts by Oyster at Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta
The emerald waters of the archipelago of La Maddalena off the northern coast of Sardinia will once again be the setting for some exciting competition and the diverse fleet of modern and classic, performance and cruising vessels will enjoy five days of exhilarating sailing.
Joining the fleet of some of the world’s most notable sailing superyachts, two Oyster yachts; the recently launched Oyster 885 superyacht Karibu and the first Oyster 100 yacht Sarafin, a finalist in the 2012 World Superyacht Awards.
Luxury yacht Karibu is the second Oyster 885 on the water and new to the Mediterranean superyacht calendar. After the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta she will cruise extensively and show her colours at the Cannes Boat Show before making her debut on the Oyster Regatta circuit at the yard’s Palma event in September.
