Selected by a jury composed of the biggest European magazines in the marine industry, this trophy is a handsome reward for the new Jeanneau model.

The “European Yacht of the Year” award is an initiative of the European magazine, Yacht (Germany), which composes an international jury in cooperation with other leading magazines, including: Yachting World, Fare Vela, Waterkampion, Batnytt, Yacht Revue, Seilas, Yate, Voile Magazine, Yacht, Badnyt and Marina.ch.
The Sun Odyssey 409 was awarded the title of “European Yacht of the Year” in the category of “Family Cruiser.”
Other nominees in this category included: the Bavaria Cruiser 45, the Bénéteau Océanis 58, the Comet 26 and the Hanse 445.
