Corecell M-Foam was launched to the marine composites market in July 2009 has now been type approved by Bureau Veritas and Registro Italinano Navale (RINA).

These approvals add to earlier accreditations by ABS Quality Evaluations Inc (ABS QE), Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Germanischer Lloyd (GL).

“These approvals, on top of M-Foam’s combination of high mechanical properties at low density, high toughness, infusion and prepreg compatibility, offer further validation of M-Foam’s proposition for the production and superyacht marine segments,” says Graham Harvey, Business Manager Marine, SP – High Modulus.

SP – High Modulus is the marine business of Gurit and currently supplies the superyacht market, high-performance custom, production and workboat sectors.
