On the 14th of March, Benetti has announced the launch of the third hull in the Mediterraneo 116′ series, Christened BOTTI. The 35.5m/116ft luxury displacement yacht is built with a fibreglass hull and carbon fibre superstructure and is due for delivery at the end of April.

The streamlined exteriors are designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta and the interiors are the work of Benetti’s Interior Style Department in collaboration with Radyca, who was chosen personally by the owner for selecting furnishings and upholstery.
Top quality fabrics, warm-toned wood and soft lighting create a relaxing and ambient interior. The main salon provides guests with a large American bar to serve guests seated at the lounge or at the formal dining table. Above, the skylounge has a plush sofa, a 75″ TV and a games table to seat four.
The upper deck aft has a grand dining table to seat up to 10 guests. On the centre of the foredeck there is a massive Jacuzzi and a space for lounging in the sun. An additional space for resting in the sunshine can be found on the sundeck stern, and the foredeck section has plenty of sun loungers, sofas and deck chairs.
The accommodation is designed to sleep up to 10 guests over five cabins, with the full-beam Master suite placed upon the main deck forward and contains an en-suite decorated in marble. Beside the Master suite is an inviting studio with a sofa and TV for private relaxation.
Two VIP staterooms and two twin cabins with Pullman berths placed on the lower deck, all of which have en-suite facilities. A crew of 7 is accommodated over three cabins in the lower deck bow and a Captain’s cabin.
2 x MAN V12-1400, of 1,029 kW engines each producing 1,400 m HP at 2,100 rpm allow for a cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 15 knots. At an economical 10 knots, she has a range of 3,200 nautical miles.
