The small Chinese territory of Macau is to host its first boat show – the International Yacht Import and Export Fair in October this year. The Macau International Yacht Import and Export Fair will be held at Fisherman’s Wharf Marina, adjacent to the Macau ferry terminal, from October 27-30.

The Macau (China) International Yacht Import and Export Fair is organised by the China Ocean Aviation Group Corp, China Automotive Industry Int Corp, Fujian Auto China Conference & Exhibition Co, Fuzhou Auto Yachts Management Co Ltd, the Nam Kwong Convention & Exhibition Centre, and the Macau Expo Group Ltd.

Macau, close to Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China already constitutes a developed luxury market, has rich tourism and cultural resources. The three-day show has already attracted more than 30 top international yacht brands. Exhibitors include Azimut, Beneteau, Lagoon, Sunseeker, ItalYachts, ARS Monaco, Horizon, Princess, Meridian, IAG and Pershing.

The show will include a fireworks ceremony, yacht test driving activities, an aqua show, and a bikini beach party. Organisers will be inviting over 100 Asia Pacific, domestic and foreign yacht clubs, 1000 purchasers, celebrities of the yacht industry, 200 yacht merchandisers and selected VIP group of private bankers.
