What are the main characteristics of the project?

The project is a passagemaker, in other words an offshore cruiser, but bigger and with more cabins. The requirements are for a yacht optimized for the pleasure of sailing rather than living onboard, agile and fast.

What are the most interesting/special features?

Project Blue refers to features not often seen on other sailing yachts like a fractionated rig instead of a sloop, fending bulwarks instead of candlesticks, a well raised helm position and more.

Would this concept be suitable for a superyacht charter purpose?

Ocean passages and sailing from a charter location to another could be part of the fun for up to 12 passengers and 10 sailors. There is a lounge between stations 10 and 12 where the customer can decide the destination of use, is it a spa, a disco and so on, more technical content like a retractable keel or balconies will be decided with the engineering team. The yacht should compete in the Superyacht rule, Jacuzzi, garage with water toys, and luxury interiors are expected, so I think it would be very suitable for charter operations, too.
