Saturday, the 25th of May saw the magnificent 80m mega yacht EXCELLENCE leave the shed at the respected Abeking and Rasmussen. The yacht was launched onto the Weser River at the presence of her owner’s representatives, the crew as well as the staff of the German shipyard. She was captured by yahcting enthusiast DrDuu on video while being towed from the shed. Her head-turning modern exterior design, featuring a plumb bow and huge glazed areas was designed by Winch Design.

Some of the standout features, in addition to her unique exterior lines, include the large swimming pool situated aft on the main deck and the private owner’s deck with a huge stateroom and private deck area, which includes a Jacuzzi. As usual for a yacht of this calibre, EXCELLENCE will feature a great selection of water toys, as well as a large water-level garage for her limousine tenders.

Accommodation on board is believed to be for up to 14 guests, including the master suite on the owner’s deck. There is a crew of 23 highly skilled professionals.
