Southern Wind has announced the signing of a new contract for a custom-built RP-NAUTA 100’ sailing yacht developed by Reichel Pugh Yacht Design for naval architecture and styled inside and out by Nauta Yacht Design.

When the Owner chose the Southern Wind shipyard and the custom RP-NAUTA 100’ sailing yacht, the three key factors were that is would be safe and reliable for cruising, high-performing for entering the world’s most renowned superyacht regattas, and sporty and stylish for an alluring modern look.

The final design is a racer-cruiser with a lifting keel and a maximum draft of 6.1m/20ft. A flush deck will be accompanied by a large sail plan for excellent responsiveness both on and off the course.
The RP-NAUTA 100’ is currently under construction and will be completed in time for a delivery date in Spring 2020.
