The typical Swedish décor and landscaping feature the creative use of fine woods. Boasting natural wood decking, three new recreational docks in Stockholm’s Hornsbergs Strandpark are rugged SF Marina Floating Concrete Docks.

A multi-year development, the Lindhagen project is transforming an industrial site to a 1,200-residence, shop, restaurant and entertainment complex. The Hornsbergs Strandpark docks are part of a two-year improvement to the shoreline which includes a boardwalk, piers and parks.  The project clients are the City of Stockholm and JM AB.

The SF Marina Floating Concrete Docks are 65′ x 10′ x 3′ with two semi-circular viewing areas measuring 20′ x 6.5′ x 4′. The heavy-duty pontoons are 65′ SF1030 and 20′ SF1220.

Virtually unsinkable, SF Marina docks are constructed from reinforced concrete and styrofoam for superior strength, stability and buoyancy. For added safety, patented dock connectors provide controlled flexibility of movement in all directions. All bolts and joints are made of acid-proof stainless steel and hot-dipped galvanized steel. SF Marina structures easily have a service life of 30 to 50 years.
