Seakeeper has successfully completed the installation of four M26000 gyros on expedition yacht LARS (ex Zeemeeuw). The 36m charter yacht Lars is a robust Ice Class vessel, converted into a luxury yacht from a tug boat.

Gyro installation took place in Rotterdam at Stemat Shipyard, where local support was provided by Kemper en Van Twist Diesel; Seakeeper’s Distributor in the Netherlands.

Motor yacht Lars was recently tested in 2m seas, Seakeeper provided dramatic improvement while at rest and when underway. This improvement will provide the owners, guests, and crew maximum comfort while on long adventures in polar waters. With no external appendages, charter yacht Lars will be free to explore with no risk of damage from ice or other sea debris.
