While remaining true to the original character, new accommodation, a redesigned galley and new plumbing have given a fresh new appearance to the interior, and her propeller and propeller shaft have also been replaced as well as the old diesel Gardener engine, now fitted with a new Volvo engine. As a result, S/Y LION NEW ZEALAND will now be faster, lighter and more efficient to run.
