Positioned in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Bay of Kotor, Porto Montenegro, a fantastic Montenegro yacht holiday location, has been changing the way the industry looks at destination marinas since it opened its doors in 2009. To this end, it has now announced its position as partner of prominent event, The Superyacht Owners’ Summit 2015.

Hosted by leading superyacht publication The Superyacht Owner and organised by Superyacht Events, the event is scheduled to take place in Porto Montenegro from 3 – 4 June 2015.

Bringing together 30 of the most influential industry CEOs as well as 50 owners, potential owners, charter clients, owner representatives, private client bankers, lawyers and wealth officers in the matchless Bay of Kotor, the Summit will discuss the future strategy of the superyacht industry from a UHNW client perspective over two days. Delegates at the event will be able to stay at Porto Montenegro’s newly opened Regent Hotel or one of the marina’s private residences.

Oliver Corlette, Managing Director of Porto Montenegro, comments, “Porto Montenegro’s goal is to raise the standard of marinas to deliver great value to our clients. With the Superyacht Owners’ Summit we hope to discuss with owners and industry leaders how to better serve yacht owners and, as a consequence, to grow them in number – to everyone’s benefit.”

A crowded event in The Superyacht Owner’s VIP Lounge in Monaco last week saw Martin Redmayne, chairman of The Superyacht Group, and Oliver Corlette, reveal the plans of this special event. For Redmayne, the key is to harness the power of the people in the industry who really care about the market and want to change things. “We are ready to bring something to the market that could change the future of the industry,” he explains.

Please kindly note that partnership and attendance to this event is by invitation only.
