The 36-metre PHI PHANTOM yacht support vessel by Alia Yachts hit the water in Turkey. Designed in house with exterior design by Cor D Rover and naval architecture by Van Oossanen, this ground-breaking support ship was made for ocean-crossing loaded with tenders and toys that her mothership, superyacht PHI by Royal Huisman, is unable to store. She is currently undergoing a sea trial with the delivery scheduled for June.

The fully aluminium yacht has been taken out of her shed at the Turkish shipyard and was driven out of the building shed and lifted onto the water in Antalya thanks to a 200-tonne travel lift.

“The owner of PHI Phantom is really detail-oriented, and he has been very involved with every element of the build,” comments Gökhan Çelik, President of Alia Yachts. “He trusted us to deliver on a demanding brief, but we have certainly matched and, I hope, surpassed his expectations for this unique support vessel. In particular, the aluminium bending and precision welding was a major challenge.”

Her interiors are finished to superyacht crew standards, accommodating up to six crew members, but has been classified to be handled only by three if needed. This allows for extra space on board, with one cabin designed as a guests cabin. The crew mess is very large with a fantastic galley.

With her very efficient Fast Displacement Hull Form by Van Oossanen and two Cat C-32 engines, PHI Phantom has a nautical-mile-range of 4,200 at 12 knots. Her maximum speed is 21 knots.
