Today, September 27, saw the majestic Perini Navi charter yacht Maltese Falcon receive the first Baccarat SuperYacht World Trophy at the Monaco Yacht Show, after topping Super Yacht World’s poll for the Finest Superyacht Ever.

The trophy, created by Baccarat in its tradition of perfection, was handed to the owner of sailing yacht Maltese Falcon by SuperYacht World editor Paul Ashton in front of a gathering of industry heads. “It gives me immense pleasure to give this award to such an iconic yacht that has captured the imagination of so many superyacht owners and designers since her launch in 2006,” he said.
Sophie Cotelle, Lighting and Furniture Business Unit Vice-President, said: “Baccarat is very proud to have partnered with the SuperYachtWorld magazine to create this trophy. The poll of the Top 50 Finest Superyachts Ever appeared in SuperYacht World’s July/August issue.
The presentation took place aboard superyacht Engelberg, a stunning new Amels. SuperYacht World wishes to thank the owners of Engelberg for their kind permission in allow the magazine to host the event aboard their new yacht.
