This year’s 27th edition of Rolex China Sea Race is set to start tomorrow, on April 16. The race will be attended by a strong fleet of 34 yachts, including such impressive vessels as the 100ft superyacht Wild Oats IX.
The keel of the largest Hakvoort superyacht to date, the 63-metre mega yacht Project Zeus (YN249), was successfully laid last month. This impressive vessel has been beautifully designed by Rene van der Velden.

This year’s Oyster Regatta Antigua 2014 came to its end, marked by glorious but lighted conditions. The Oyster 100 superyacht Penelope was the overall winner of Class One, with the Oyster 885 yacht Lush second and the Oyster 82 luxury yacht Starry Night taking third place.
This year’s Singapore Yacht Show hosted the largest ever display of Princess yachts, including the show premiere of the majestic superyacht Princess 88.
On April 10, the well known Taiwan-based builder, Horizon, cooperated with Taiwan Audi on the launch of the new A8 luxury car. This was unveiled against the backdrop of the Horizon E88 and E56 motoryachts. VIP guests were also treated to a cruise on board the Horizon EP148 expedition yacht “Polaris”.
Two new V series models have been proudly introduced by the well known Taiwan-based builder Horizon Yachts – motor yacht V72, as well as V80 Cockpit yacht. They boast an increased interior volume and a wide range of amenities and features.
Seasoned-naval architect, Albert Sedlmayer, has formed a standalone company, and is also officially launching the 52m superyacht SPECTRUM 52 design to market. The SPECTRUM 52 will be the largest sailing catamaran in the world, when built.
