Entries for the 2015 Young Designer of the Year Award will close at midday (GMT) on 9 January, 2015. The winner of the competition will be presented with a gold Neptune trophy and a €5,000 cash prize at the ShowBoats Design Awards, which will be held on February 23, 2015.

Sea Level Yacht Design & Engineering from the Netherlands has unveiled an unusual 33m motor yacht refit project. The vessel was originally built for the Dutch navy in the 1960s as one of sixteen 33-metre minesweepers.
