Eel Kant has been appointed as the managing director at the Jongert Shipyard as of 1st July 2010. Mr Kant was the Managing Director of Oceanco for about 7 years, from 2003 to 2010. Kant is very positive about the yards survival after the worldwide financial crisis.
The superyacht Atlantic, a 56m three-masted schooner which is a replica of the famous schooner ATLANTIC launched in 1903, has been delivered. Sailing yacht Atlantic was reportedly in La Rochelle, France for around 10 days where she completed some finishing touches and is now on her way to the Mediterranean to start her charter season.
Werner Yacht Design create a 30m motor yacht without a third deck. The Werner 30m Yacht design is instead a raised pilot house superyacht concept.
Superyacht S.Bernardo, like her 4400 sister ships, was designed by Heesen Yachts in conjunction with Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. Filippetti Yachts was created by Fausto Filippetti and his children Martina and Giovanni in a futuristic building in Mondolfo, in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, Italy. The yacht builder creates 20-30 metre motor yachts.
Superyacht BISCUIT 95′ as built and launched by Filippetti Yachts is a collaboration with Hot Lab Studio. The motor yacht BISCUIT is a rebuilt of a 30 m flybridge yacht.

Superyacht ‘Pacific’ is launched in 2010 and she is an impressive 85 metre (278 ft) Lurssen motor yacht with exterior design work by German Frers and her interior design work was created by Bannenberg & Rowell. Yacht Pacific is almost an explorer type yacht in style and she is amoungst the most important new yacht launches by Lurssen in 2010.
Jongert Shipyard launches their latest sailing yacht Uisge Beatha on the 24th June 2010. She is a Jongert 2400M aluminium sloop rigged yacht. Water of Life or Uisge Beatha Yacht was built for her Scottish owner, who after a worldwide search chose Jongert to built her.
