AUDI AG and World Sailing Management have signed a new collaboration agreement which extends AUDI´s title sponsorship of the Audi MedCup, through to the end of 2013. AUDI AG´s renewed sponsorship means a continuation of this powerful partnership for 2011, 2012 and 2013 and consolidates the Circuit’s position at the forefront of world sailing.

More recently the team has been undergoing further change and will be introducing a range of new products and services enhancing the relationship that is present with existing customers while fully intending to attract new customers.
Today’s 15 miles long coastal race strengthened the provisional leaders’ position. Among the Big Boat, Moonbeam of Fife skippered by Erwan Noblet scored another first, leading on the 15 Metre Tuiga helmed by Bernard D’Alessandri and representing Yacht Club de Monaco.
A fleet of 30 elegant Oyster sailing yachts took to the waters off Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda for the first day of racing in the Oyster Jubilee Regatta which is the 25th event in the Oyster Regatta series hosted for the first time by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. Racing started on schedule on a stunning 15 mile coastal course under azure blue sky with a warm breeze.
Cruising Yacht Club of Australia’s eighty-five nautical mile Bird Island Race starts off Point Piper on Sydney Harbour at 7.00pm on Friday 24 September. Some of the best known grand prix racers in the country such as sailing yacht Loki, S/Y Ragamuffin and Andrew Wenham’s Southern Excellence, a Volvo 60, expected to be the frontrunners.
Over 60 international yachts have registered for the 2010 Rolex Middle Sea Race, a 606-nautical mile offshore race, which starts from Grand Harbour in Malta on 23 October 2010.
