The opening day of the 2012 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show saw a private concert hosted by Princess Yachts Australia with famous Jon Stevens. Later on, the guests were a unique possiblity to admire the luxury motor yacht Princess 60 as well as the Princess V39 yacht, both making their Australian debut.
The inaugural Riviera Festival and Boat Show, taking place from May 24 to 27, attracted a large number of Riviera owners and enthusiasts. Day 1 of the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2012 saw the 25m superyacht Highland Fling take the top spot in the Performance class, followed by My Song and Aegir respectively, while the Cruising division was won by the 38.8m charter yacht Ganesha, with the 37m luxury charter yacht Moonbird taking the second place and the 29m Scorpione dei Mari placing third.
