During the August Marina Industries Association (MIA) Board meeting, Kenny Kang (Seuk-Ju, Kang), Chief Executive Officer of CKIPM Marine Group Co Ltd became the new member of the Board of Directors. He is the first MIA director not coming from Australia.
The newly-launched luxury catamarans by Sunreef Yachts, the 60 Sunreef Power yacht EWHALA as well as the 70 Sunreef Power yacht SKYLARK were officially presented during the cocktail reception at Hilton Hotel in Gdansk on 18th August. One of the most iconic sailing events, the 2012 Rolex Swan Cup regatta is to start in less then a month, from 10-16 September in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, Italy. Around 100 Swan yachts are believed to participate this year, with almost 70 Swans already having confirmed their participation.
