The world-class boat building and repair precinct, Gold Coast Marine Precinct, is undergoing a massive tranformation to world-class marine exposition site in preparation for the 2012 Gold Coast International Marine Expo. This not-for-profit event will take place from November 2 to 4.
Scheduled for September 1-4, 2013, the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup will open with a Selection Series Trials in San Francisco in February. At the moment, more than 20 teams from 17 countries are eligible for the Series.

Due to the lack of wind, a bit frustrating Rolex Middle Sea Race 2012 in Malta was attended by a record-breaking 83 international teams. The overall winner of the 33rd edition has become the South African yacht Hi Fidelity.
Luxury sailing yacht PENELOPE, the second Oyster 100 superyacht, has been successfully launched ahead of her delivery to her owners in November.
October 27 in Malta’s capital city Valletta saw the official prize giving ceremony of this year’s Rolex Middle Sea Race. The Medot Sailing Trophy was presented.
In the previous years attended by such important superyacht manufacturers as Heesen, Palmer Johnson or Feadship, the dates for the 3rd edition of Singapore Yacht Show have been revealed. This prominent event will take place from April 19 to 21.
