It was another exciting day of competing for luxury yachts, participating in the 2013 BVI Spring Regatta in the popular Caribbean yacht charter destination – Tortola. Tonight, the Regatta Village at Nanny Cay Marina will play a host to the Bastanaak Swimwear and Beachwear Show.
Day 1 of this year’s BVI Spring Regatta started with perfect conditions, delivering the wind of 10-12 knots. However, the race ended earlier, due to unstable wind, that appeared later in the day. The Alia 82 charter yacht Aiyana took third place in Performance Cruiser 1 class.
