Already familiar with the Marine industry, Marcus previously worked for 10 years as Product Manager for marine distributors Aquafax, prior to Hempel Paints for 7 years as OEM & Superyacht Project Manager.

Commenting on the new position, Marcus said; “I am looking forward to the new position with Oceanair and the challenges ahead. Joining Oceanair at the beginning of the busy exhibition season has been a great start as I have already attended Southampton Boat Show and Monaco Yacht Show and met many of Oceanair’s European clients and distributors, and further plan to meet them all over the next few months.”

Oceanair has also made seven other recent new appointments: Roger Wilson as Supply Chain Manager; Peter Disley and Geoff Wade to the Product Engineering team; Sam Nye as a Product Designer, Vicki O’Connell in Sales Order Processing, Donna Wearn as Human Resources Manager; and finally Duncan Theobald as Technical Sales Manager in the Residential & Commercial division of the business.

Andy Fitzgerald, Managing Director of Oceanair, commented; “I’m very pleased to welcome all eight new staff members to their positions at this exciting time with Oceanair. The company is currently very busy with regards to exhibitions, sales and production, and currently we are devoting plenty of resources into new product research and development. Strengthening the team and investing in the future this way will allow us to fulfil these objectives as well as customer expectations.”
