A new name in marine communications has been launched specialising in the design and development of advanced communication and safety products.  The directors of the company, Ocean Signal™, have brought together one of the most highly experienced teams in the marine communications industry.  Individually they have designed and developed many of the market leading products and now, as Ocean Signal™, bring a fresh approach to communication and safety at sea for commercial, fishing and leisure vessels.

The managing director of Ocean Signal™, Alan Wrigley, has an impressive background himself, as a founding director of the original Navico he led the project team developing the highly successful AXIS VHF radios.  He is now joined by technical director, Simon Nolan, one of the worlds leading experts in radar target enhancing, and his team of designers and engineers based in Kent, UK.

Alan Wrigley commented, “We have been fortunate to bring together an incredibly strong team with many years experience in the development of marine communication and safety products.  They have worked tirelessly in the development of microwave and other technologies to create a completely new range of products which we will launch internationally.  Each of our Ocean Signal™ products will have undergone meticulous design and research to ensure they outperform or offer more focussed functionality to the user and provide total confidence in their effectiveness.  We will make sure that Ocean Signal™ is a company that provides the technology and quality of product that will set industry standards.”

Ocean Signal™ will launch its initial range at the SMM commercial shipping exhibition in Hamburg.  In the meantime the company will develop its distribution network in Europe and USA to facilitate its target of becoming one of the leading organisations in communication and safety at sea.
