The prominent Dutch luxury yacht manufacturer, Moonen, has recently played a host to journalists from all over the world as part of the HISWA Holland Yachting Group press tour. It’s been a rainy spring in Holland, but the weather was perfect on the day of this visit, which permitted Moonen to provide the journalists with a good mix of business as well as pleasure.

After enjoying lunch in the centre of Den Bosch, the party went for a cruise onboard Moonen MD Emile Bilterijst’s lovingly restored tug Oude Waal III. Everybody was given a small set of binoculars with a hint that they would be doing some exploring of their own during the tour.
Moonen 100 Explorer Yacht
As the tug sailed around a bend in the river, the journalists suddenly saw the Moonen 100 Explorer yacht floating on a small lake. They were then welcomed aboard for a tour as the first members of the press to see this recently launched superyacht. Emile gave a presentation about the project and the shipyard, thereby ensuring that the assembled group would have plenty to write about upon their return home.
