Benetti has announced that the second Mediterraneo 116′ superyacht, Hull BM002, was launched earlier in August at their facilities in Viareggio.

Giorgio Maria Cassetta created the exterior styling, while the owner’s designer worked in collaboration with Benetti to complete the interiors with a personalised layout and appearance. the sporty silhouette of the exterior is complemented by a light and airy interior, further enhanced through the application of glazed and reflective surfaces and a crystal glass door.
Comfort and an emphasis on naturally lit spaces were key concepts when designing her interior and exterior living areas, and outside there are two large dining areas, with the upper deck providing a table over 6 metres in length, along with outdoor lounges with plush sofas and armchairs and sun loungers to rest and unwind in the warmth.
The main deck interior benefits from an open plan layout to form a spacious interior for dining and entertaining, which is made all the better by the 3m/10ft windows connecting guests to the outside world.
Accommodation consists of a full-beam Master suite located in the bow of the main deck, while the 4 lower deck guest cabins consist of 2 VIP staterooms and 2 twin cabins that each have a Pullman bed. A crew of seven is provided for over 3 cabins and the Captain’s cabin close to the helm station on the upper deck.
The Mediterraneo 116′ motor yacht BM002 is expected for delivery in October.
