The Spanish company Marine Business, a leader in interior design in the nautical sector, is strengthening its image and international penetration this year by expanding its presence at international boat shows.

Marine Business Product

Marine Business is already present in 40 countries through distribution networks and importers. Nevertheless, international market demand is constantly growing, and so the company decided to increase its development in foreign countries.

To this end, the company will go to most of the international exhibitions in autumn this year. Besides being at Cannes, Genova and Mets, as it has been doing for years, Marine Business will present its new releases at the Boot Dusseldorf exhibition in January 2011, the most important in the sector. Also for the first time, Marine Business will exhibit its designs at the SEATEC in Carrara, Italy, one of the most important professional exhibitions in this sector. The Barcelona Boat Show complements the calendar.

Marine Business is one of the most truly international Spanish companies, since it started exporting its designs in 1994. Over time, Marine Business has become the reference point for the sector, creating the concept of “Nautical Interior Design”: exclusive designs, custom made to the needs of each ship-builder, not striving only for comfort, but also for aesthetically pleasing designs in their craft.

“When we started on 1985, our slogan was “We dress up your vessel”” explains Noemi Ducable, Managing Director of Marine Business. This philosophy stills guides the company, since it started design and production of its own collections in the 90s, tailor-made to customer requirements.

Its annual collections have achieved a balance between classic and modern designs, and very specially, on-board utility. Along with its emblematic crockery, glasses and bed linen, Marine Business offers a large variety of original accessories conceived to make on-board life much easier. Multiuse trays, personalised champagne glasses, stands for glasses, self-contained cooking utensils or a wide variety of waterproof textiles, are just some of the products that year after year they include in their catalogue, and that now has more than 500 references.

This year Marine Business will present their new releases for the season at the autumn exhibitions in France, Italy, Holland, Germany and Barcelona. Their range will increase with new additions: coloured glasses, salad bowls, trays and a renewed range of carpets.

The star of the 2011 catalogue will be the new textile collection, which offers bed linen, quilts, cushions and towels, all which can be combined, so each ship-owner can make a complete trousseau with elements going from classic to modern designs, all in blue, beige and maroon colours.
