Situated in the popular Spanish yacht charter location – Barcelona, the fabulous Marina Port Vell (MPV), set to become one of the world’s most prestigious superyacht destinations and, with phased marina completions throughout 2013, the pre-eminent home port in the Mediterranean, is looking forward to the 2nd Annual BWA Pentathlon. The event will take place this weekend.

In addition to sponsoring the event, which is being held at Club Natació Barcelona, the MPV team – which includes dockhands, admins and execs – are busily practicing for the event’s five main sporting activities: a kayak relay race, beach football, rugby polo, swimming and water fencing.
The 2013 BWA Pentathlon, being held on 27 April 2013 from 14.00-23.00, supports the Cruyff Foundation whose mission is to support sport and play for children with disabilities.
Following the competition, participants will enjoy a sizzling barbeque, awards and prizes for the best overall team and individual performance, a raffle, music and merriment.
