Luxury 60m superyacht reported to sink in Tha Chin River, Thailand

According to reports from the Bangkok Post, a 60 meter superyacht has sunk after it was launched into the Tha Chin River in Samut Sakhon's Muang district in Thailand on Friday.

According to reports from the Bangkok Post, a 60 meter superyacht has sunk after it was launched into the Tha Chin River in Samut Sakhon’s Muang district in Thailand on Friday.

The photo below from Chanat Katanyu / Bangkok Post shows a boy standing on a bridge overlooking the partially submerged yacht.

According to reports from Yacht Forums, the 60m superyacht was a British Flagged yacht by the name of FOX.

The reports also said that motor yacht FOX began to sink just after her launch and that witnesses said the yacht tipped sideways and water gushed into the interior.
