The main gallery space is in the central zone of the interior while the flybridge will showcase virtual exhibitions, workshops and conferences. The inaugural digital exhibition “Icons” features representations of women in the Mediterranean managed by Noëmi Daucé, curator of archaeology at the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Her two-year voyage will take in locations around the world including the Mediterranean, the Middle East, the African coast plus Southeast Asia and the Americas. Admissions to the exhibitions on board will be free of charge with visitors encouraged to register in advance via Art Explora Academy. This new digital platform is dedicated to offering art history courses in French and English, with educational videos developed in close collaboration with the University of Paris-Sorbonne.

The yacht itself was designed by Axel de Beaufort and Guillaume Verdier for Perini Navi (part of the Italian Sea Group) and boasts a 17.3m (56’8”) beam and 3.4m (11’1″) draft. In addition to her sails, power comes from 2 x CAT C9.3 (310 kW @2100 rpm) engines and delivers a top speed of 13 knots with a range of 3,500 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 11 knots.

Once she has completed her art voyage, she will be available for charter for up to 12 guests with ten crew members.
