Derecktor’s team of experienced outside machinists, metal workers, as well as riggers has been hard at work throughout 2013, with a long line of re-power yacht projects and generator replacements. Over the course of the year, the yard saw a total of thirteen main engines, thirteen reduction gears and seven generators removed and replaced on eight different yachts, each with unique access challenges that needed an innovative solution to keep the costs manageable.

Motor yacht Elisa – 150′ Christensen, SOC – 122′ Delta, charter yacht Northern Lights – 130′ Westship, and superyacht Ingot – 106′ Burger were all repowered, and luxury yacht Hilarium – 135′ Hakvoort and charter yacht Mirage – 131′ Heesen are on-going projects.
