Designed by renowned Tim Heywood, the 54.3m motor yacht hull 461, the latest member of the Limited Editions 171 series was successfully launched last Saturday by the prestigious Dutch shipyard, Amels. Boasting a grey steel hull as well as white aluminium superstructure, the LE 171 hull 461 superyacht is based on the successful Limited Editions 171 platform and is a sistership to the Amels luxury yacht Step One (ex hull 460), launched last month.

Amels superyacht hull 461 is expected to reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots, with a range of around 4,500 nautical miles.
Amels is working on several projects at the moment, including the 52m luxury yacht AdDiction, currently doing sea trials following her refit for the fire to her mast as well as the motor yacht Step One and the Sea Rhapsody superyacht expecting to be delivered.
