Saturday, April 12, 2014, saw the New Zealand shipyard, Fitzroy Yachts, launch the 37,5-metre sailing yacht Escapade (FY17), marking the end of operations at the New Plymouth yard. Superbly penned by Dubois Naval Architects, the spectacular superyacht Escapade is a fast cruising sloop, with interior design by Design Unlimited. She will be soon taken to Auckland for completion.

Luxury yacht Escapade provides lovely and comfortable accommodation in four beautiful cabins. These include a master cabin as well as two guest staterooms situated aft, while a 4th cabin, come day room, galley and crew space are located forward. Escapade also boasts a beautiful raised saloon and a fixed bimini over the cockpit with mechanically operated sliding windows.
