The leading Dutch luxury yacht maker, Heesen Yachts, successfully launched its all-new 40m motor yacht GALATEA (Project Galatea, YN 15640) last month. Following her sea trials in the North Sea, superyacht GALATEA will be handed over to her Owners at the end of next month.

Boasting advanced aluminium hull technology, powerful performance, uncompromising interior design, as well as peerless Dutch construction standards, luxury yacht GALATEA is the first 40-metre Heesen ‘sportster’, representing the optimum balance of power and comfort. She is capable of 28 knots, yet features marble bathrooms among luxurious interior design features.
GALATEA yacht will sleep up to 10 guests in stylish and elegant interiors, created by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. She will offer five deluxe cabins, including a full-beam main deck master, two full-beam VIP doubles and two twin cabins on the lower deck.

GALATEA superyacht will provide luxurious ride, with comfort and handling ensured by Active Interceptor stabilizers and the very latest zero-speed Seakeeper gyro stabilizers.
