Trimline Yacht Interiors, Southampton-based yacht interior specialists, are currently working on their latest project – the 56m motor yacht Tacanuya. The areas of superyacht Tacanuya will be sympathetically revitalised at Burgess Engineering’s Porchester facility. Work is expected to last until July, with Trimline’s specialist team there for the duration.

Superyacht Technical Services, representing the yacht’s owner, scoured a host of European yards before finding the facilities and the necessary value at Porchester.

Trimline have been appointed by Burgess Engineering to refurbish the Guest Suites on the Tacanuya yacht creating luxurious relaxation spaces in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Working alongside Superyacht Technical Services and the Burgess Engineering Yard, the designs by H2 Yacht Design will be turned into reality by Trimline’s specialist yacht joiners and CAD technicians.

New bathroom suites are being created with bespoke, lightweight marble interiors from Grama Blend and handmade Wenge cabinets designed by H2. These will be hand made at Trimline’s Southampton headquarters. Made-to-measure glass and stainless steel shower screens will complement the contemporary space.

Inside the Guest cabins, Trimline will be making way for additional lighting, blinds and newly upholstered panels to soften the rooms’ appearance. Luxurious carpet by H2 and hand crafted desks by Trimline will be added, made in satin finished Cherry wood.

Nigel Spooner, Director Technical and Design at Trimline Yacht Interiors, said: “The work to Tacanuya will showcase the beautiful construction of our bespoke joinery and Trimline Yacht Interiors attention to detail.”
