The DEVONPORT 3000e explorer superyacht Design is intended to capitalise on the best of engineering and robust sea keeping capabilities developed in the off- shore luxury yacht sector. DEVONPORT asked Rolls Royce Marine to provide a diesel electric engineering platform at 3000 GRT. This has initially been used by Rupert Mann Designs to define a true expedition superyacht.
DEVONPORT 3000e Superyacht
To create the 3000e explorr motor yacht design DEVONPORT has worked alongside Rolls Royce Marine to develop a solid engineering platform for a series of robust explorer yachts aiming to provide the maximum possible accommodation and deck space for ‘water toys and other essential adventure equipment’, while keeping the design’s GRT at just under 3000 tonnes.
