Italian shipyard Cerri Cantieri Navali (CCN) has released images of the pristine contemporary interiors within 31m/107ft luxury yacht VANADIS, the fourth yacht in the Fuoriserie range.
Main Salon
The fully custom aluminium craft was styled inside and out, taking inspiration from a contemporary interpretation of Jugendstil Interiors, the German branch of the Art Noveau movement. Bleached ash and walnut characterise each room and give a beautiful natural contrast between light and dark tones.
Vanadis – exterior profile
The main salon is furnished with an L-shaped sofa and two armchairs around a covered ottoman, while the formal dining area contrasts against the cool white surroundings with warm brown and cream tones. Custom-made furniture and furnishings were selected together with the Owner, and come from Wittmann, Poltrona Frau, Giorgetti, Knoll and JAB. The Owner also had an eye towards safety, and the majority of handles have been made flush with the furnishings. This is most noticeable in the Master suite and hall, where discreet slits have been cut.

“Both the exterior and interior layouts have been fully customised to the Owner’s needs and wishes, resulting in a highly functional, comfortable, stylish and sophisticated design,” Guido de Groot remarked.
Guest Cabin
The accommodation is designed for up to six guests to keep an intimate atmosphere on board, and the cabins consist of a Master suite and two twin cabins, each with en-suite facilities.

M/Y VANADIS was the first Italian-built luxury yacht to be given the Hybrid Power certification from Lloyd’s Register, and the on-board engineering is impressive if largely unnoticed by guests for how well it performs: The Caterpillar C9.3 engines give a top speed of 12.5 knots and a cruising speed of 8 knots in electric mode. A set of high energy-density AKASOL lithium-ion batteries of 175 kWh which power the majority of the onboard utilities, resulting in up to 17 hours of zero-emissions energy consumption while at anchor, and up to 180 minutes cruising at a limited speed depending on the onboard power load.
A Xenta Integrated Steering System has been combined for the first time with Azimuth Pods from Schottel, allowing for 360° rotation on their vertical axis. The Dynamic Positioning System (DPS) ensures that superyacht VANADIS can remain in the same spot without dropping anchor in environmentally sensitive areas, such as coral reefs.
