Juan Balaguer, WIDER Superyacht Division COO, has reported an important development in the building of the luxury motor yacht WIDER 150′, currently under construction in the Ancona facility of Wider Yachts in Italy. Variable speed generators – the heart of the WIDER 150’ yacht’s propulsion system – have now arrived in the shipyard and are in the process of being installed.

The power produced by these generators will then be harnessed by a sophisticated power management system, and distributed to the propellers and the hotel system according to the specific requirements of the time.
Juan says: “The WIDER 150’ is now starting to take the shape of a finished yacht, and it looks amazing! The hull and superstructure primer is 90% finished and we are fitting the retractable terrace to the owners’ suite. So, now is a great time to visit the shipyard and explore the WIDER 150’.”
