Compiled by Showboats International magazine, the 2015 Global Order Book (GOB) provides an annual data report on yacht build as well as sales activity throughout the globe on yachts 80ft in length and longer. This year, Horizon is proud to announce that they have ranked number 10 in the GOB list of Top 30 Builders by length worldwide.

This year Horizon had 16 new build projects ranging from 140 to 89 feet and totaling 1,686 feet in length, and they are the only Asia-Pacific yacht builder ranked in the top ten builders. Taiwan, home to Horizon Yachts, held steady at number 6 on the list of Top 10 Builder Nations with a total of 53 yachts in build.

Stability seems to be the key to this year’s Global Order Book, which is only down one yacht order from last year but up in total length under construction; motoryacht orders are still the largest sector in the industry with 540 orders and expedition yachts are in second place again with 47 orders.
