Chinese shipbuilder Heysea has announced that it has sold the Asteria 126 to a Chinese client, who has also commissioned two more yachts from the yard: An Asteria 96 and a Heysea 82.
Asteria 126
Expected to launch in 2019, the Asteria 126 is a 38-metre superyacht built with a carbon composite hull and superstructure. She has a shallow draft for a yacht of her size at only 1.5m/5ft, allowing better access to rivers and sheltered anchorages. The layout contains a generous beach club connected to a main deck aft designed for sunbathing and sheltered alfresco dining.
Heysea Asteria 126
Created for daytime and evening entertaining, the main deck salon has a bar and formal dining area to serve eight guests. An-L-shaped sofa allows guests to lie full-length or sit together for a film and conversation.
While the sundeck will be partly used for storing tenders, there will still be plenty of room for guests to enjoy a spa pool, sun loungers, an alfresco dining area with bar and barbeque and a C-shaped settee.
The accommodation sleeps eight guests in four large cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin. A pair of Caterpillar C32 engines allow for a maximum speed of 22 knots and a range of 1,200 nautical miles when cruising at an economical 10 knots.
Asteria 96
Built with a GRP hull and superstructure, the 29m/95ft Asteria 96 represents a collaboration between the shipyard and Australian naval architect studio David Bentley Yacht Design. Among the interiors is a cutting-edge media room and a Master suite with a walk-in wardrobe.

The accommodation is designed to sleep a maximum of six guests over a Master suite and two double staterooms that can be converted to twins, while the crew quarters sleeps 3.
Heysea 82
The Heysea 82 is also built with a GRP hull and superstructure, offering a shallow draft of 1.3m/4ft and a beam of 6m/19ft. The accommodation sleeps 8 guests across 4 cabins and Caterpillar engines of 1,136 HP each provide a maximum speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots.
Heysea 82
Also in production is a 43m/141ft motor yacht and a 41m/134ft motor yacht, which are expected to be sold to an Asian buyer.
