As the latest hull in the shipbuilder’s highly successful 5000 Aluminium series, PROJECT ASTER has naval architecture and exterior styling done by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. Her semi-displacement hull was built by Heesen and using a pair of MTU diesel engines 16V 4000 she will achieve a top speed of 23 knots with a range of 3,100 nautical miles at 11 knots.

The interiors are styled by Cristiano Gatto Design, who chose a high lacquer wood finish against detailing in leather and steel to balance Heesen’s high-performance engineering and craftsmanship. Interior images of the main salon, sky lounge and Master stateroom reveal a pale colour scheme that uses ash white panelling with accents in steel, deep brown, pristine white and grey. Flowing curves are used in the furniture for a more organic setting and a multitude of half-height windows allow guests to enjoy the views while the natural light enters the room.
